Directors Joe and Anthony Russo seem to have pulled
the mother of all Easter Eggs in Captain America: The Winter Soldier!
While promoting the home release of Captain America:
The Winter Soldier, director Joe Russo teased that there were a couple of
scenes in the film that featured one of Marvel's most well known vigilantes.
After joking about his cameo has one of the surgeons
working on Fury, Joe teased that the truck that helps Nick Fury escape from
Hydra belongs to the same company as the one seen when the Winter Soldier kills Agent Sitwell. In and
of itself this information is pretty harmless, but the director goes one step
further and teases that the driver of said truck might be someone we know and
that he might get a One-Shot sometime down the line.
"The man who drives that
truck," Joe says, joking that the driver might
be a candidate for a future Marvel One-Shot, "Is very highly trained. He thinks on his own terms. He's got a
plan and a very specific skill set."
