Director
Wes Ball's adaptation of James Dashner's YA novel The Maze Runner premiered
this past September 19th, and already made $81+ million on a production budget
of $34 million, so obviously 20th Century Fox is already moving forward on the
sequel, The Scorch Trials, which will be released on September 18, 2015. In
addition, work on the script for the sequel began almost a year ago with
screenwriter T.S. Nowlin penning it under the supervision of the director.
