Who Will Write X-Men: Apocalypse?

Two weeks ago director Bryan Singer, who is currently in post-production for X-Men: Days of Future Past announced that the next installment in the popular franchise would be X-Men: Apocalypse, but since then no other official news have come from either Singer or the studio, until yesterday that is, when the director tweeted a photo of himself, Simon Kinberg, Mike Dougherty and Dan Harris and a text saying “Late night #XMen #Apocalypse story session. #SimonKinberg @DanimalHarris @Mike_Dougherty It's snowing in Egypt!”.

Screenwriter Simon Kinberg is the man behind the X-Men: Days of Future Past script, while Harris and Dougherty penned what is considered one of the best X-Men movies, X2: X-Men United. The fact remains of who will in fact write the screenplay, Kinberg, Dougherty or Harris.

At the end of the message, Singer says that “it’s snowing in Egypt”, Egypt? Yes Egypt was the birth place of En Sabah Nur, aka Apocalypse in the original source material.

X-Men: Apocalypse opens on May 27th, 2016.
