Shrek Helmer Targets Dark Horse's Breath of Bones

Screenwriter and director Andrew Adamson (Shrek, Chronicles of Narnia) is attached to helm the adaptation of Dark Horse's three-issue miniseries Breath of Bones, written by Steve Niles and Matt Santoro with art by Dave Watcher.

"While a town flees from advancing Germans, one young boy stays behind to protect their homes. With the help of a golem brought to life by the boy’s grandfather’s faith — and death — the battle begins for their freedom and future."

Adamson and producing partner Aron Warner will produce the project under their Strange Weather production company, with Dark Horse's Keith Goldberg and Mike Richardson.
