caught up with Marvel's Agent Carter producers Stephen McFeely, and
Christopher Markus at Comic-Con, and quizzed them about how will the
show tie in with existing Marvel Universe.
"What’s
great is that we have the same bonus with Cap one, that we could do
anything we want because we don’t have to tie into anything because
we come before everything," McFeely revealed. "Then we
forced them to tie into us."
Markus
then revealed a fun spoiler, he announced that Jarvis, not the Iron
Man digital butler, but the real man, will be appearing in the show.
"We’ll
certainly have Easter eggs and even more than that. I think I can
say, one of the characters will be Edwin Jarvis, who is Howard
Stark’s manservant, who goes on to be a tutor to Tony, and
therefore is the inspiration for the AI voice and all that. So it’s
that kind of interconnectedness that should make peoples ears go …
that’s the kind of reaction I want. That’s right."
