MGM has been trying to adapt the 1960's tv show, The
Outer Limits, to the big screen for quite some time now, but to no success. Now
according to Heat Vision, director Scott Derrickson, and his Sinister co-writer
C. Robert Cargill will tackle the script for the adaptation, in specific one of
the episodes from the series, titled Demon with the Glass Hand.
The episode follows a man with no memory beyond the
last ten days, and is being hunted by an alien race. To make matters worse, the
man has a computerized hand, and determines that he's actually from the future.
Derrickson pretty much announced his involvement in
the project via his Twitter.

The picture above is not to be confused with a
previous tweet from the director, where he announced that he will be directing
Marvel's first foray into magic, Doctor Strange.
