Actress and sci-fi goddess Sigourney Weaver is the latest addition to the cast of director Neil Blomkamp’s next sci-fi film, Chappie, which tells the story of a robot (Sharlto Copley) with artificial intelligence, who is stolen by two gangsters who want to use him for their own agendas. Also starring in the movie is Dev Patel and Hugh Jackman. At this point it’s unknown what character Weaver will be playing.
Weaver
will next be seen in Exodus, which marks the reunion of the actress with the
director of Alien, Ridley Scott.
