Acording
to Variety, Into the Wild star Emile Hirsch will be playing the lead role in
the new Belushi biopic. The movie will be an adaptation of Judith Belushi
Pisano and Tanner Colby’s book “Belushi”, which will focus on Belushi’s most recognizable
gigs, from SNL, to Animal House to The Blues, up to his early death at the age
of 33 from an overdose of a cocaine and heroin mix at the Chateau Marmont in
Los Angeles.
The
film will begin shooting in New York next Spring.
