Michael Shannon has signed to star opposite Andrew Garfield in Ramin Bahrani’s
indie 99 Homes, which centers on a desperate man (Garfield) who after losing
his house to foreclosure finds a job with the same real estate agent (Shannon)
that took his home in the first place. At his new job, he (Garfield) finds
himself evicting people from their homes while helping the crooked real estate
agent embezzle money from the government.
