Liam
Neeson turned into a certified action star after the huge box-office and critic
success of the 2008 Taken, where he plays Bryan Mills a retired CIA operative
that travels to Paris, France to rescue his daughter that was kidnapped and is about
to get be sold as a sex slave. The film was such a success that the studio
prompted a sequel that unfortunately was at least by the critics a huge
letdown, making Neeson not wanting to go back, but it was fortunate in the
box-office, making an astonishing 375 million worldwide, making Neeson think
twice about another possible sequel.
According
to Deadline, Neeson is currently in negotiations and is asking for 20 million to
comeback as Bryan Mills in Taken 3. Whom we can expect to begin their
negotiations are Maggie Grace (Kim) and Famke Janssen (Lenore).
It
seems that Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen are already writing the script and
we can expect the production in Taken 3 to begin in February.
