Bobcat
Goldthwait some may remembre him as Zed in the Police Academy franchise, others
may know him as the director of such movies as World’s Greatest Dad and God Bless
America and it’s the latter that we are here to talk about. Goldthwait is back
on the director’s chair with Willow Creek, a found-footage horror thriller,
that focuses on an couple who go on the search of Bigfoot, sort of Blair Witch Project
but with Bigfoot instead of a Witch.
“Willow Creek plays better than your average found footage
film because of the unique things Goldthwait brings to it. The leads are very
likable and quite funny (you don't really get much of the humor in the trailer,
but it's in the movie), the film is loaded with real-life Bigfoot experts, who
bring a level of weirdness, and the film's central set piece is a bravura piece
of tension that is so protracted you could never fit it in a trailer. “ – Badass Digest
