The Deapool movie is just around the corner. Writers and producers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are just waiting for 20th Century Fox to green light it, to begin the production. Deadpool will be starring as Deadpool Ryan Reynolds that already played the part in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The director has already been chosen, Tim Miller. The project should count with a 50 million dollar budget. Now for the project to star, all it needs is Marvel seal of approval.
MGM has announced that they have bought the rights for the adaptation of the video game Tomb Raider from GK Films and it's already working with the studio to remake the action franchise, that were launched in the 2001 and 2003 movies, starring the actress Angelina Jolie.
20th Century Fox's, The Secret Service, will be the next project for director Matthew Vaughn, who brought us Kick-Ass and X-Men: First Class. The story, written by Mark Miller and Dave Gibbons, is based in a comic book by Marvel and it's about a veteran secret agent that guides a young one to dark paths. The script was written by Matthew Vaughn himself and his colleague Jane Goldman. The production should start in August of this year.
