Universal
Pictures has released a new trailer for Tate Taylor's ("The Help")
upcoming big screen adaptation of Paula Hawkins' thriller The Girl on the Train,
which stars Emily Blunt as Rachel, a lonely and alcoholic divorcee who fantasizes
about the
seemingly perfect couple she glimpses everyday during her daily commute. One
morning, however, she sees something shocking and becomes entangled in the
mystery that unfolds.
Opening just around Oscar
season on October 7, The Girl on the Train also stars Luke Evans,
Hayley Bennett, Rebecca Ferguson, Justin Theroux, Edgar Ramirez, Allison
Janney, and Lisa Kudrow.
