From villain in Sam
Raimi's Spider-Man to good guy in Zack Snyder's Justice League, Willem Dafoe
has joined the DC Extended Universe family in an undisclosed role.
The Academy Award nominated
actor ("Platoon", "Shadow of the Vampire") joins Henry
Cavill (Superman), Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jason Momoa
(Aquaman), Ray Fisher (Cyborg), Ezra Miller (Flash), and J.K. Simmons (Commissioner
Gordon).
Details on Defoe's
character are under lock and key, but he will appear in both Justice League
movies.

League: Part One opens in theaters on November 17, 2017, while Part 2 drops on
June 14, 2019.
