From the writers that
brought you Neighbors and This Is the End, (Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg), and
the directors of the Thomas and Friends franchise (Greg Tiernan) and Madagascar
3 (Conrad Vernon) comes an R-rated animated comedy about food.
Sony Pictures Entertainment
has released the first trailer for Sausage Party, which tells the story of one
sausage setting out on a quest to discover the truth about his existence. After
falling out of a shopping cart, our hero sausage and his new friends embark on
a perilous journey through the supermarket to get back to their aisles before
the Fourth of July sale.
Scheduled to open in
theaters on August 12th, Sausage Party stars Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Kristen
Wiig, Edward Norton, James Franco, Paul Rudd, Nick Kroll, Michael Cera, Salma
Hayek, and David Krumholtz.
