A couple of new
pictures from the set of Justin Kurzel's upcoming Assassin's Creed movie have
landed online courtesy of Ubisoft's head of content for Assassin's Creed, Azaïzia
Aymar, who tweeted out three images of some of the swords Michael Fassbender
will probably encounter when his character, Callum Lynch, comes face-to-face
with the Templar's.

In the game, the Abstergo
Industries is a multinational conglomerate and a front for the modern day Templar's.

The old man on the
hilt of the sword is Hugues de Payens, a co-founder and the first Grand master
of the Knights Templar, who also co-wrote the Latin Rule, the Templar's creed.
Hitting theaters on December
21, 2016, Assassin's Creed also stars Marion Cotillard, Brendan Gleeson, Jeremy
Irons, Michael K. Williams, and Ariane Labed.
Through a
revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch
(Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in
15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret
society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on
the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.
