Today at the Television Critics Association
presentation, FX announced that they have renewed their horror series The Strain
for a third season, meaning that we are two seasons short of the limit imposed by
series co-creator and executive producer Guillermo del Toro, and showrunner
Carlton Cuse.
Based on Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan's trilogy
of thriller/horror novels, The Strain follows a ragtag group of people trying
to survive and defeat a vampire epidemic that started when a mysterious crate
lands at JFK.
