Bryan Singer has
shared a new behind-the-scenes image from his fourth film in the X-Men
franchise, Apocalypse. The picture gives a look at Storm (Alexandra Shipp) in
1983 Cairo, but also a glimpse of Singer using simulcam, a relative "new"
technology that offers filmmakers a chance to see both the live performance of
the actor and the computer-generated images that will be added later in
post-production.
Opening
on May 27, 2016, X-Men: Apocalypse stars Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence,
James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, Lucas Till, Rose Byrne, Alexandra
Shipp, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Lana Condor, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Ben Hardy,
Olivia Munn, Josh Helman, and Tómas Lemarquis.
