Have you packed for
San Diego? Are you thinking of camping out in the hope of getting in and catching
and early glimpse at a new trailer or a clip from the upcoming Star Wars: The
Force Awakens? Well, than sad news fans, as it seems there won't be anything
"new" come Friday, July 10. Well maybe not anything new, but according
to Entertainment Weekly, J.J. Abrams won't be unveiling any new footage, opting
instead for highlighting some behind-the-scenes aspects of the highly anticipated
film, which I'm assuming will be a look at the practical effects, including
sets, weapons, costumes, creatures, and vehicles.
This isn't a official
announcement made by the studio, so anything could happen, but as we all know
Abrams likes to reveal as little as possible, so chances are you will have to
until this Fall, which is when the next trailer for The Force Awaken is
expected to arrive, just a few months ahead of its December 18 release.
The Hall H
presentation will also include the presence of producer and Lucasfilm President
Kathleen Turner, co-writer Lawrence Kasdan, and a few surprise guests that will
for the first time speak about the film and their roles.
