After landing a role opposite Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie
Jones, and Kate McKinnon in Paul Feig reimagining of the Ghostbusters,
Michael K. Williams is now set to appear in the upcoming adaptation of the
Assassin's Creed video game.
For now details on whom the actor will be playing are being kept under wraps, but
according to Variety's sources, Williams' "character has a major stake in
the franchise." The news outlet also adds that "his role will be equivalent
to a co-starring one, alongside Fassbender, in the sequel."
Opening on December 21, 2016, Justin Kurzel's
adaptation of the popular video game also stars Marion Cotillard, and
ArianeLabed.
