Gary Anthony Williams
(Boston Legal, The Boondocks, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Parts 1 and 2)
has joined that cast of director David Green's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2
as the mutated henchman, Bebop.
According to Deadline, this version of Bebop will "start off as a punk street thug
member of a ragtag gang of misfits who acts as if he’s intellectually
superior, but isn’t."
No
word on who will play his pal, Rocksteady, but expect some news soon.
The sequel also stars Megan Fox as April O'Neil,
Will Arnett as Vernon Fenwick, Tyler Perry as Baxter Stockman, Brian Tee as
Shredder, Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, Laura Linney in an unknown role, and
Judith Hoag, who played April O'Neil in the 90's TMNT films also in an unknown
role.
Alan Ritchson (Raphael), Noel Fisher (Michelangelo),
Pete Ploszek (Leonardo), Jeremy Howard (Donatello), Danny Woodburn (Splinter) and
Tony Shalhoub (Splinter voice) also return.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 hits theaters on
June 3, 2016.
