Sony Pictures Classic has released the first clip from Woody Allen's upcoming new comedy, Irrational Man, featuring Joaquin Phoenix as Abe, an alcoholic philosophy professor going through an existential crisis, which causes him to have writer's block, Parker Posey as Rita, who is attempting to unblock him, and Emma Stone as Jill, the mentioned student.
Irrational Man opens on July 17, and also stars Jamie Blackley, Ethan
Phillips, and Ben Rosenfield.
