Ahead
of the start of production, writer/director David Ayer took to twitter today to
share the first official image of the cast of the upcoming Suicide Squad in a read-through.
The
picture features the majority of the cast including Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Joel Kinnaman, Adewale
Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Viola Davis, Jay Hernandez, and Karen Fukuhara.
Jared
Leto's absence from the picture is noticeable, but there are some surprises, for
instances the presence of (from left to right) Ike Barinholtz (Neighbors), Jim
Parrack (Fury), and Adam Beach (Flags of Our Fathers), whom as far as I'm aware
weren't rumored to be up for a role in the film.
