Emily Kinney Confirmed As The Bug-Eyed Bandit On The Flash

The CW has confirmed that The Walking Dead star Emily Kinney has joined The Flash in a guest-starring role. The actress will debut on the upcoming eighteenth episode of the series titled All-Star Team Up as Brie Larvan, aka the Bug-Eyed Bandit.

This will be a reinterpretation of the Atom villain Bertram Larvan, who uses robotic insects to commit crimes. Brie on the other hand is a tech wizard, who will engage Felicity (Smoak) in a hacker fight for Barry's life.

There were a couple of reports claiming that the Bug-Eyed Bandit, and a "bee-a-utiful tech wizard who rocks oversized shades and red lipstick… and has devised a clever-slash-amoral-slash-wildly unstable scheme to weaponize bee-sized ‘bots", were going to appear in the series, but I thought they were two different characters, now however it seems that they are one and the same.
