Morgan Freeman, Ken Watanabe And Bill Nighy Eyed To Play The Ancient One In Marvel's Doctor Strange

Last week Marvel Studios announced that long rumored contender Benedict Cumberbatch had been cast to play Dr. Stephen Strange, aka Doctor Strange in the upcoming movie of the same name. Now The Latino Review is reporting that Morgan Freeman, Bill Nighy, and Ken Watanabe are being eyed by the studio to play one of the most important characters in Doctor Strange's past, the Ancient One.

In the source material the Ancient One is the one that helps the both physically and mentally the broken Stephen Strange rise up and turn into the Sorcerer Supreme.
