Producer Don Murphy (Natural Born Killers, Bully, LXG,
Transformers) is developing Alan Moore and Eddie Campbell's graphic novel From
Hell into a series for FX with Children of Men scribe David Arata set to write
the adaptation.
Originally published in 1989, From Hell is a fictional
recount of the Jack the Ripper murders and his identity, but also serves as a
commentary on viollence.
The graphic novel was previously adapted to the big
screen in 2001 with Johnny Depp in the lead role.
