Tim DeKay To Play Ward's Older Brother In Agents of SH.I.E.L.D.

The first season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. revealed some gruesome information about Ward's past. The root of all Grant Ward's evil so to speak, is called Maynard Ward, his older brother, who forced him to beat up his defenseless younger brother, and in one instance pushed said younger brother into a well and prohibit Ward from rescuing him. The abusive relationship ended with Ward burning their house down with Maynard inside, who escaped and reported Ward, who ended up in a juvenile detention and for the pickings of Hydra Agent, John Garrett.

So in a way if not for Maynard, Ward would have never been so mentally unstable as to burn his house down, which led him to be recruited by Hydra/S.H.I.E.LD. double agent John Garrett. So who is Maynard?

Maynard is White Collar star Tim DeKay, or should I say Sen. Maynard Ward (the senator with deep pockets?). The character will be introduced in the upcoming sixth episode, called A Fractured Rose.
