Yesterday word got out that Fox
was planning to create a live-action tv show based on Peter David's Marvel's
X-Factor comic, which had Jamie Madrox, aka Multiple Man at the forefront of
the team. Now a new report claims that Fox is having cold feet about
introducing a character or characters that most viewers never heard of, so in
response it sounds like the studio is considering the possibility of having Evan
Peter's X-Men: Days of Future Past character Quicksilver the center of the show.
However, there is a problem, since Quicksilver appeared in the past portion of
the latest X-Men movie, will the show be set in the 70's or will they just
recast the role and have the show set in the present?
In addition there are also some rumblings
about the show having a female lead, but that's has far as the reports go, as
no characters have been mentioned.
As always take it with a grain of
salt as the show has not been officially announced yet. But if it does, who
would you like the show to focus on?
