Agent Nick Coulson, wait… Director Phil Fury, wait... Director
Phil Coulson sits behind his new desk contemplating about the future of his S.H.I.E.L.D.
How's this for an extreme makeover? Last May,
S.H.I.E.L.D. was dismantled after being infiltrated by the terrorist
organisation Hydra. Now it's time for Director Couson (Clark Gregg, above) and
his team to rebuild and save the day, with a little help from Nick Fury (Samuel
L. Jackson), the former director. Their new headquarters, buried safely
underground, in a reconverted SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve) bunker from
WWII, will be "authentically vintage", says executive producer Jeff
Bell. "Of course, Fury has tricked it out with a few updates and a handful
of cool toys."
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns on September 23rd, and will star Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson the new director, Ming-Na Wen as Melinda May the "Cavalry", Brett Dalton as Grant Ward the traitor, Chloe Bennet as Skye the code 0-8-4, B.J. Britt as Antoine Triplett, and Iain De Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge as Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons as the whiz kids.
Joining the new season are Kyle MacLachlan as Skye's myterious father, Lucy Lawless as Agent Isabelle Hartley, Brian Patrick Wade as Carl "Crusher" Creel, aka The Absorbing Man, Adrianne Palicki as Bobbi Morse, aka Mockingbird, Reed Diamond as Daniel Whitehall, Nick Blood as Lance Hunter, and Henry Simmons as Agent Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie.
