According to British newspaper The
Sun, Tom Cruise might make a cameo in director J.J. Abrams' upcoming Star Wars:
Episode VII. The director helmed Cruise in Mission: Impossible 3, and was a
producer in M:I - Ghost Protocol and is a producer in M:I 5, which will come
out around the same time as Episode VII.
Abrams is said to be keen to get the star involved as
he ‘loves working with Tom whenever he gets the chance’, say The Sun.
Tom has been in London for over a week and met up with
JJ and some other people from Star Wars over the weekend. On Saturday evening five of them
met up for dinner and drinks at the Belgravia Hotel.
Abrams and Cruise's meeting could
be about M:I 5 since both are released in December of 2015, but Cruise isn't
shy of making a cameo, like Les Grossman in Tropic Thunder, or the gag at the beginning
of Austin Powers in Goldmember.
On another note, the injured Harrison
Ford will return to the United States to do physical therapy.
Star Wars: Episode VII stars Mark
Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny
Baker, Lupita Nyong'o, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac,
Andy Serkis, Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow.
