Something interesting just happen, a clip from the
upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past will play after the credits roll of The
Amazing Spider-Man 2. This is interesting for two reasons, first is that previews,
clips, trailers, promos, etc... usually come before the movie and not after,
and the second is that although they are both based on Marvel properties,
Spider-Man is owned by Sony and X-Men is owned by Fox.
So what does this mean? Are both studios teasing a
possible crossover between the two franchises? Probably not, as for that to
happen both studios would have to split the profits and honestly, I'm not
seeing that happening, as both individually can easily achieve the $500 million
mark and more.
But wait!
What about The Amazing Spider-Man 2 post-credit scene,
teasing The Amazing Spider-Man 3? Will it have one? NO! Reports from the
initial screenings in the U.K. say there isn't a web-head post-credit scene,
only the X-Men clip.
