Now that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 as premiered and the cast and crew are in the press tour promoting the film, specks of possible information have started to appear.
We know that after The Amazing Spider-Man 3, Sony will
bring two spin-offs to the big screen, one that focuses on Venom and the other
on the supervillain team the Sinister Six. Both movies are still a long way
away, but rumors have already started to fly, like Carnage appearing in the
Venom movie, or which characters will form the Sinister Six, and today another
question rose. Could a member of the supervillain team by a female?

Now, this may very well be just a thing of the
moment for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Sinister Six producer, Matthew Tolmach,
who can't really say yes or no, so he teases and shrugs, but many fans have
begun to ask for there to be more females characters in superhero movies, so,
maybe this could be a good opportunity.
