Speaking at the Beijing International Film Festival (via
CNTV), Anderson mentioned that he would be returning to the Resident Evil
franchise with Resident Evil 6 and that Li Bingbing, aka Ada Wong and Mila
Jovovich , aka Alice would also be retuning.
Last summer Screen Gems announced a release date of
September 12, 2014 for the sequel but at this time we can pretty much guess
that won't happen, which aligns with what Jovovich twitted last, that the movie
would probably be released in 2015.
