Dreadful will feature all of the classic monsters like Dr. Frankenstein and his
creation, Dorian Gray, some creatures from Dracula, explorers, spiritualists
and all around heroes.
John Logan (Hugo,
The Aviator, Gladiator) was the creator behind the show and will act as writer
and executive producer, alongside Sam Mendes.
Penny Dreadful
will premiere on Showtime in the Spring of 2014.
