Yesterday Marvel confirmed that they will
maintain the Captain America 3 release date of May 6th, 2016, where it will
clash with Warner Bros. Man of Steel sequel. The date will mark the first
battle between the two opposing companies and fans.
In a recent interview to Bloomber.com, Dan
Fellman, president of domestic distribution for Warner had this to say:
"It doesn't make a lot of sense for two
huge superhero films to open on the same date but there is a lot of time
between now and 5/6/16," and "However at this time, we are not considering
a change of date for 'Batman vs. Superman.'"
Do i sense Warner backing out from the fight? Well,
many fans are still questioning if the untitled Batman vs. Superman will
actually arrive on date, given that it was originally set to be release on July
17th, 2015, but as Fellman points out there are still two years two go and a lot
can happen.
If both movies come out on the same date, which
will you see first?
