According to the DSH, Edgar Wright's Ant-Man has
suffered a two months delay in production. The website goes on to say that
there isn't a reason to be alarmed, as they speculate that it could be due to
last minute script changes or for the sets to be finalized over at Pinewood
Studios.
According
to one of The Daily SuperHero's production sources, Ant-Man's start date for
has been pushed back from late May to mid-to-late July. No details were
provided besides the slight delay of filming. This information is coming from
the same production source who accurately told me that Batman vs. Superman
would not start filming in February—as many sites reported and claimed it would
start, even after its release date delay—and it would begin in April, which is
accurate since they are ready to start any day now.
Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Patrick
Wilson and Matt Gerald. Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Michael Peña, and
Clifton Collins Jr. are reportedly in talks.
Ant-Man opens on July 17, 2015.
