Following the footsteps of Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier will also be shooting some additional scenes. Production will reassemble for two days before breaking for the holydays and then after for two weeks in January of 2014. It’s unclear why the additional shooting, perhaps some post credit scene or just something didn’t trimmed properly in post.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier Synopsis:
“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” will pick-up
where “Marvel’s The Avengers” left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace
his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black
Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.
