Yep, after Thor: Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier panels, Marvel’s president, Kevin Feige introduces on stage Joss Whedon,
who brought a video with quotes from The Avengers over something metallic being
hammered, the camera then pulls out, only to reveal that it is Ultron’s helmet
and then the title, The Avengers: The Age of Ultron appears.
Now what
do you think the reaction was? Yes you are right! Everybody went berserk.
But
wait, wasn’t Thanos supposed to be the villain in the sequel? We know that he
appeared smirking in the end of the Avengers; we know that he will be the
villain mastermind in Guardians of the Galaxy, so we were expecting him to be
the main villain in this sequel, but the character isn’t referenced in the
Ultron story.
So
what does this mean? Well it Thanos might still appear, but has a villain in
Avengers 3.
Now this
revelation opens the doors to other questions, for instance;
Because
Ultron is created by Hank Pym, aka Ant-Man, does this mean that we will witness
his creation in Edgar Wrights Ant-Man?
For sure
Ant-Man is going to be in The Avengers: Age of Ultron, right?
And what
about Vin Diesel, I don’t think he will play Ant-Man, but what about Vision,
the “child” of Ultron, or even Ultron himself?
So many
question and not enough answers.
Personally
I think Diesel will be Ultron, I think it’s more up his alley, than again we
all thought that Thanos would be the villain in Avengers 2 so…
