Spike Lee’s remake of Oldboy will open on
November 27th and not on October 11th has it was schedule. The reasons for the
delay are unknown, but it will share theater space with Disney’s Frozen, the
musical Black Nativity and Jason Statahm’s Homefront.
Starring Josh Brolin, Sharlto Copley and
Elizabeth Olsen, Oldboy will then open on November 27th and here is the red-band trailer.

Oldboy
is a provocative, visceral thriller that follows the story of an advertising
executive (Josh Brolin) who is abruptly kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years
in solitary confinement. When he is inexplicably released, he embarks on an
obsessive mission to discover who orchestrated his bizarre and torturous
punishment only to find he is still trapped in a web of conspiracy and torment.
