In a
recent interview to Buzzfeed, Chronicle writer Max Landis talked about
Chronicle and what happened to the teenagers so they could have superpowers.
“a
race of crystalline organisms that communicate and propel themselves through
radio waves, and turn higher life forms into telekinetic drones.”
He
then added "two embittered souls as antiheroes trying to catch the survivor
of the first film."
Landis
was supposed to be writing the sequel, Chronicle 2, but creative differences
made the writer leave the project.
