A
couple of weeks ago we reported that Tom Hiddleston was having meetings with
the producers of The Crow remake, but apparently we were wrong, they weren’t
having meetings, they had “a simple conversation” and nothing more.
What
is now being reported is that True Blood star and son of the also actor Stellan
Skarsgard, Alexander Skarsgard is being considered for the main role in the remake
of the 1994 film, The Crow. Apparently Alexander is being considered for the
role because the film in which he was supposed to be in Tarzan but it was
cancelled. Tarzan, adapted from the novel by writer Edgar Rice Burroughs and
directed by David Yates, has abruptly halted production by Warner Bros. over
budget issues.
The
production for The Crow is set to begin in the Fall of this year, so we should
be hearing casting news in the coming months.
