Fans are always showing in a creative
and passionate way, their love for the characters and worlds that live inside
their favorite’s books, comics, movies, tv shows. They do AMV’s, cosplay, drawings,
paintings, short original movies, they do all sorts of things.
Such is the case with YouTube user
OtaKing77077, whom created a gigantic Star Wars space battle animation. It’s a
battle between the Empire’s TIE Fighters and the Rebel Alliance’s X-Wing. The
short animation has an almost 80’s style vibe to it, it’s very colorful and
very well made with an awesome animation technique.
For the more attentive ones, you will
notice that the user OtaKing77077 isn’t actually the one sharing this video (maybe
a cease and desist from LucasFilm?) but user JPL4185 instead, whom add the
soundtrack “Born to Lose” by Sleigh Bells.
Maybe with the Star Wars: Clone Wars tv
animation show cancelled, to give place to some idiotic tv show about the Teen
Titans pulling pranks on one another, this short animation can inspire the
bosses at LucasFilm or at Disney to do something new, different and frankly,
cool. And since there is a new movie being made by J.J. Abrams, they can sort
of go with the flow and make it happen.
P.S. I don’t dislike the Teen Titans Go!
Project, i don’t know how it’s being done, I’m merely speaking about the premise
for the show, which either took the Clone Wars spot or the Young Justice spot.
