Snowpiercer
has a top notch cast, with Chris Evans, Jamie Bell, Tilda Swinton, John Hurt,
Alison Pill, Ed Harris, Octavia Spencer, Ewen Bremner, Luke Pasqualino, Kang-ho
Song, Kenny Doughty, Steve Park, Adnan Haskovic, Tómas Lemarquis and Clark
Middleton. Directing the film is Joon-ho Bong, who brought us The Host in 2006
and Tóquio! In 2008.
This
movie than seems to have all the things needed to be an instant sci-fi cult
classic.
Snowpiercer Official Synopsis:
"Snowpiercer," based on the French graphic
novel "Le Transperceneige," is set in a future where, after a failed
experiment to stop global warming, an Ice Age kills off all life on the planet
except for the inhabitants of the Snow Piercer, a train that travels around the
globe and is powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine. A class system
evolves on the train but a revolution brews.
The behind the scenes video is in Korean and it doesn’t have
subtitles.
