Just got the hairs on the back of my neck stand up because, IGN just posted
a video previewing of Marvel Phase 2
projects, which focusses mainly on Iron Man 3, but also contain some
explanations on both Captain America: The Winter Soldier
and Thor:
The Dark World, plus there are some Guardians of the Galaxy
concept art and some Ant-Man test footage and by the end
there is Joss Whedon talking about being
excited about Avengers 2. Well I’m excited about all of these projects, especially
about Guardians of the Galaxy (cannot
wait)

Iron Man 3 will be directed by Shane
Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Death
Note, yes from the anime, not much yet known), and starred by Robert Downey, Jr (Tony Stark/Iron Man), Gwyneth
Paltrow (Pepper Potts), Don Cheadle (James Rhodes/War Machine), Paul
Bettany (voice of Jarvis), Ben Kingsley (The Mandarin), Guy Pearce
(Aldrich Killian) and most likely Stan Lee.
Captain America:
The Winter Soldier will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo (Community),
and starred by Chris Evans (Steve Rogers/Captain America), Scarlett
Johansson (Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury),
Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), Sebastian Stan
(Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier), Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson/The Falcon), Toby
Jones (Arnim Zola), Frank Grillo (Brock Rumlow/Crossbones), Emily VanCamp (Sharon Carter), Hayley
Atwell (Peggy Carter) and Robert Redford as the head of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Thor: Dark World will be directed by Alan
Taylor (The Sopranos), and starred by Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Natalie Portman (Jane Foster), Ray Stevenson
(Volstagg), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Kat Dennings (Darcy Lewis), Anthony
Hopkins (Odin), Christopher Eccleston (Malekith), Zachary Levi (Fandral), Idris Elba (Heimdall), Stellan
Skarsgard (Dr. Erik Selvig), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Algrim/Kurse), Jaimie Alexander (Sif), Rene Russo (Frigga) and Chris O’Dowd.
Not much is still
known for either Guardians of the Galaxy or Ant-Man, except that Guardians
of the Galaxy will be directed by James
Gunn (Troma’s Edge tv), and starred by Chris Pratt (Peter Quill/Star
Lord), Dave Bautista (Drax the Destroyer) and Damion Poitier (Thanos, rumored) and Ant-Man will be directed by Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz).
Robert Redford not only confirmed his
appearance in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but had this to say,
“I wanted to do something different. I
wanted to do something just to be different. Something bold, different. And
that felt like a good thing to do. That was it, nothing more to it than that.
Well, it’s bold in terms of expectations, I guess.“
When asked about his role in the movie he replied “The head of S.H.I.E.L.D.”
