We
all know that they are going to bring back Agent Coulson in the upcoming TV
show Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and possibly in the upcoming Marvel’s
movie adaptations such as Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Avengers 2,
but the question in everyone’s mind is how are they going to achieve such a
thing, as we all remember he died in The Avengers and by dying, he inspired the
team to kick both Loki’s and the Chitauri’s ass and save the day. So how are
they going to bring him back… drum roll please…in The Avengers he didn’t
actually died he simply held his breath. WHAT?? Is probably what you are
thinking. Personally I laugh so hard I started crying, it’s something out of a
bad B movie, but what can we do.
The
explanation goes something like this:
“In
the pilot, it’s revealed Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson),
the ultimate super spy, faked Agent Coulson’s death on purpose to motivate The Avengers. Some S.H.I.E.L.D. members were in on it
(including, possibly, Maria Hill played by Cobie
Smulders) but The Avengers were not. Their security clearance
wasn’t high enough. Coulson was forced to hold his breath as part of the ruse
and that’s a point of contention among his colleagues After the
fact, Fury moved him to a remote location until things died down, and then he
was reinserted into duty at the time of the show.”
So…
where to go from here.
Listen
guys of Marvel, couldn’t Agent Coulson be an android, robot, couldn’t he be
like Cap or Hulk and given a shot of the super soldier serum or be bombarded by
some gamma radiation and thus be alive. Holding his breath is a lame way to
bring someone out from the dead. Better idea in the end of Thor: The Dark
World, Thor could go to Hela, the daughter of Loki and the ruler of Hell and
bring Agent Coulson’s soul back from the dead. Do anything but pretending he
isn’t dead.
Marvel’s
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. synopsis:
Fresh
from his role in the summer’s box office smash, MARVEL’S THE AVENGERS, Agent
Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) returns to the worldwide law enforcement
organization S.H.I.E.L.D. He puts together a small, highly trained, team of
Agents to tackle the cases that haven’t been classified yet, the new, the
strange and the unknown. That team consists of straight arrow Agent Grant Ward
(Brett Dalton), an expert in combat and espionage; pilot and martial artist Agent
Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen); and brilliant if socially awkward scientists Agent
Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge).
They’ll be joined by civilian new recruit and computer hacker Skye (Chloe
Bennet).
