Ralph Breaks the Internet:
Wreck-It Ralph 2 is the official title Disney has given to the upcoming sequel
to their 2012 Oscar nominated animation Wreck-It Ralph.
Directed by Rich Moore, who
recently won an Oscar for Zootopia, and Phil Johnston, the film is schedule to
open in theaters on March 9, 2018.
Wreck-It Ralph 2 has a
returning voice cast that includes John C. Reilly as Ralph, Sarah Silverman as
Vanellope, and Jane Lynch as Calhoun.
Ralph Breaks the Internet
release date means Disney won't have an animation coming out this year,
however, their sister company Pixar will release two films this year, and they
are Coco and Cars 3.

Opening in theaters on June
16, Cars 3 sees the return of Larry the Cable Guy, Owen Wilson, and Bonnie Hunt
to their respective roles. Kerry Washington, Armie Hammer, and Nathan Fillion
are among the new cast members.
Coco, which centers on
Mexico's Day of the Dead celebration, will be Pixar's first original film since
the Oscar-winning Inside Out in 2015. Directed by Lee Unkrich, the movie, which
opens November 22, stars newcomer Anthony Gonzalez, Benjamin Bratt, Gael Garcia
Bernal, and Renee Victor.
