With production already
underway, Jake Busey has joined the cast of Shane Black's R-rated The Predator
sequel.
The 20th Century Fox project
also stars Sterling
K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Boyd Holbrook, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Jacob
Tremblay, and Augusto Aguilera.
Scheduled to open in theaters on
February 9, 2018, the film's main plot is being kept under wraps.
Like father, like son. Busey's father
(Gary Busey) had a role in the original's 1990 sequel, The Predator 2,
where he played a covert government agent trying to capture the alien for
military gain. Busey's role in the film is unknown.
Busey just wrapped the third season
of Robert Rodriguez's From Dusk Till Dawn series on the El Rey Network.
