The 2017 Golden Globes Awards
fell in love with Damien Chazelle's La La Land. The writer/director's original
musical won all the seven awards it was nominated for including movie (musical
or comedy), screenplay, song, score, actor (Ryan Gosling), and actress (Emma
Stone).
One the television side of
things, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association once again voted for the new
shows. FX's Atlanta and Netflix's The Crown won best comedy and drama,
respectively, as well as the top acting awards.
