Daniella Pineda is set to join
Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt in J.A. Bayona's ("A Monster Calls")
yet untitled Jurassic World sequel.
Details on Pineda's character are
being kept under wraps, but it is sure to be a breakout role for the still
up-and-coming actress whose past credits include The Originals, American
Odyssey, The Detour, and High Maintenance.
Also starring in the yet
untitled project is Rafe Spall ("Prometheus"), Justice Smith ("The
Get Down"), and Toby Jones ("Sherlock"). BD Wong is rumored to
be reprising his role as Dr. Henry Wu.
Colin Trevorrow, who directed Jurassic World, penned
the script for the sequel along with Derek Connolly.
Frank Marshall, Pat Crowley, and Belén Atienza are
producing, with Trevorrow and Steven Spielberg executive producing.
