It
looks like Disney and Lucasfilm are closer to signing a female lead to co-star
in Chris Miller and Phil Lord's highly anticipated Star Wars anthology film
centered on a young Han Solo to be played by Alden Ehrenreich.
According
to Variety, Tessa Thompson ("Selma," "Creed"), Naomi Scott
("Power Rangers"), and Zoƫ Kravitz ("Mad Max: Fury Road") have
tested this week in London for a mysterious female lead role in the closely guarded Star Wars
spinoff.
As previously reported,
Donald Glover continues to be high on the list to play Lando Calrissian,
however, both Disney and Lucasfilm have apparently asked for a second round of testing
before making a decision.
The yet untitled Star
Wars spinoff opens in theaters on May 25, 2018.
